He has sailed the Pacific coast of US, Mexico, Central America, and the Panama Canal, the Caribbean, and the Northeast Atlantic Coast for 25 years. Gary has been sailing the waters of Wellfleet Harbor and Cape Cod for 20 years. He has a USCG license to carry six passengers up to 100 miles from shore, as well as CPR, 1st AID, and Lifesaving. In 2006 Gary received instructor training and became certified as a US sailing small boat instructor. Prior to starting the sailing business, Gary was an ocean lifeguard for Cape Cod National Seashore and the towns of Wellfleet and Orleans over a period of 18 years. In the offseason Gary is a faculty member at the University of Vermont teaching Public Policy and Natural Resources. He is a patient teacher and likes kids. NOTE: All captains are enrolled in USCG random drug testing program.
	Captain Jim Demetras Jim Demetras has 40 years and many thousands of miles of sailing experience. Since 1983 he has held a Master 100 ton Coast Guard License, and taught sailing for many years at the Offshore Sailing school in Cape Cod and the Caribbean. He has instructor certification from both ASA and US Sailing. Jim has cruised the Mediterranean and the Western Atlantic from Maine to Venezuela and is well prepared to serve your sailing delivery, charter, or instructional needs.
